In November each year we welcome 300+ people to our annual Gala--friends, supporters, clients, and partners who share a common goal: to provide support and services to those impacted by addiction, violence and loss. The Gala shines a spotlight on our clients who share their personal stories of support received and peace and healing found, that they never thought possible again in their lives. 

It’s a fun evening that includes a silent auction, a live auction, three course plated dinner, and an informative, inspiring evening program. Use the auctions to kick-off your holiday shopping and allow your holiday gift budget to benefit the work of the Foundation at the same time. As we prepare for the Gala, we are actively seeking help to make this event the best yet. We rely on over 100 volunteers leading up to and the days of the Gala, so if you would like to donate your time, please contact us at Sredman@timgriffithfoundation.org

Please consider donating items for the silent and live auctions. Best sellers include vacation home stays, hotel stays, wines, jewelry, and tickets to Bay Area events and activities. If you have an auction item to donate, please reach out to Denise at dharvey@timgriffithfoundation.org. If you have attended a Gala in the past you know about our custom-made gift baskets that are a big part of our silent auction. We are always interested in donated items for baskets, and donated pairs of hands to help assemble them! Basket day this year is October 28th and if you’d like to join us or drop off donated items on that day or before, please reach out to Ann at acorbin@timgriffithfoundation.org

The Foundation also relies on local businesses to donate items and services and to sponsor portions of the Gala event itself. Sponsors can receive thanks and recognition through our printed program, event signage, website, and newsletter. Proceeds from the Gala fund all the aspects of our mission including the Meadowlark Retreats for Grieving Mothers and Fathers, a Sequoia High School counselor working with at risk youth in Redwood City, and Tim’s House. You will receive your invitation in the mail, and you can register for the Gala now. We hope to see you there!
